Originally, Gakuura was a fabric for lining sewn onto the back of haori coat.

The origin of this fabric is that craftsmen, in response to the prohibition of extravagance in the Edo period (1603-1868), kept the outer kimono and haori plain and decorated the hidden lining (lintel and haori lining) with extravagant designs.
In addition to its original use of being sewn onto the lining of haori, it is also used for the lining of coats and suits, as well as for interior decoration In the present, it is used in this way.

The waterfall and the house were painted in the mountains and water, and it seems to represent the life of Japan people who lived in harmony with nature.

Due to manual processing, there is a possibility that the photo may not exactly match the actual product.
